Senior Full Stack Developer – Πλήρης

Our client is a leading international software development company with their European headquarters based in Larnaca.

We are seeking to recruit a very experienced Full Stack Developer to join their expanding team

Job Description

• Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance.
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code according to specification and industry best practices.
• Follow quality assurance procedures to make sure all delivered products are functional and stable.
• Work in full cooperation with fellow team members to achieve team targets and goals.
• Manage assigned tasks in a transparent and responsible manner.
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
• 3rd Level Support when required.

Required Skills & Experience

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
• Proven hands-on Software Development experience, on Linux based OS and Windows OS.
• Proven working experience in Java development.
• Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
• Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc)
• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate etc.Experience in the Spring Framework
• Experience in OLAP for better reporting performance – is an advantage
• Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, PrimeFaces, Spring MVC)
• Experience in Maven/Gradle, Jenkins

The following would be an added advantage

• Proven knowledge of SaaS
• Experience in the AWS infrastructure components, Lambda, RedShift – huge advantage
• Experience in OLAP for better reporting performance
• Experience in bash scripting
• Proven working experience in Ruby/Python
• Experience with test-driven development
