Our client is a leading international software development company with their European headquarters based in Larnaca.
We are seeking to recruit a very experienced QC Engineer to join their expanding team
Job Description
- Analyze requirements and technical documentation and test documentation based on them
- Execute testing suites and perform exploratory testing
- Investigate identified issues and document test results
- Use issue tracking software and documentation management systems to report, track and update issues status and testing results
- Operate and maintain test equipment, build and maintain test environments and test data
- Automate testing activities to make them efficient and repeatable
- Develop and document application test plans based on software requirements and technical specifications
- 3rd level support
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum B.Sc. degree in technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least 4 year of experience in Software Quality Control
- Experience in testing web applications (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) including cross-browser compatibility testing
- Experience in testing Java enterprise applications, administration experience for Java Application servers (Red Hat Wildfly and/or IBM WebSphere or similar)
- Knowledge of main principles of HTTP, SOAP, XML protocols
- *nix-based, Windows servers’ operating systems on a level of experienced user/administrator
- Excellent in QA process: good theoretical base, test analysis, test design and execution, reporting; functional testing, exploratory testing, regression testing
The following would be an added advantage
- Experience with SoapUI, SVN, JMeter, “sniffing” tools
- Experience in test automation (Selenium)
- Experience in testing enterprise-size systems
- Experience in hardware-software integration testing
- Experience in Agile environment
