Lanitis Bros is one of the biggest companies in the non-alcoholic beverage industry in Cyprus and a member of the Coca-Cola Hellenic Group. Since it’s founding in 1957, the company operates in the Cypriot market aiming to add value to its consumers, customers, employees and suppliers, where it operates.
Lanitis bros, distributes and trades the Coca-Cola Company products, along with a range of its own products, such as the bottled water Kykkos and Lanitis fresh milk, as well as products in cooperation with other companies, such as the ready to drink coffee illy cafe, the energy drink Monster and the tea Nestea.
The Company is seeking to recruit a Quality Control Officer at Kykkos plant. The Quality Control Officer leads the Quality team at Kykkos plant. Ensures the implementation of the quality standards related to products, raw materials, production and processes at Kykkos plant. Plans and coordinates resources for implementation of quality assurance programs.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Ensures implementation and maintenance of all required TCCC, CC Hellenic and legal quality standards

Ensures that quality processes are implemented, established and followed by all site employees

Handles customer and consumer complaints and takes action for their resolution.

Together with Plant manager ensures continuous improvement of Quality

Enhances awareness and consistent message credibility regarding quality and quality assurance within the plant team.

Conducts risk assessments in case of introduction of new equipment, processes, products, raw materials.

Ensures that quality function supports site needs and it is staffed with appropriate expertise.

Executes the site quality plan at optimum cost and efficiency

Ensures that the quality strategy is translated into Site quality plans and that is fully understood and implemented by all personnel

Develop successors and ensures talent pipeline improves year by year
-
Ensures Individual development plans and coaching for direct reports

Establish a competitive working environment with clear roles and responsibilities

Assess performance based on performance indicators and address performance issues fast

Establish productive relationships
-
May work on a 3- shift schedule if required by business needs.
Qualifications
Essential Criteria:
-
University Degree in Food technology/science (e.g. chemist, microbiologist)

Proficiency in Quality and Food Safety Systems
-
3-5 years’ experience in quality function, preferably in FMCG industry

PC skills : PC literacy
-
Very good knowledge of English language is required

Enthusiastic with the ability to drive and enforce standards and influence people

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop good relations at all levels both internally and externally.

Ability to prioritize, plan and implement own work with supervision

Highly motivated and flexible in approach, a team player with an excellent customer service approachDesirable Criteria:

SAP knowledge will be an advantage
