World Refugee Day Celebration 2017

 On the occasion of World Refugee Day 2017, Oasis is organising a festival, with the support of the UNHCR, to celebrate the courage and resilience of refugees. The festival will honour the unique culture and contributions of refugees to the Cypriot society, as well as raise awareness on refugee issues and strengthen solidarity between the Cypriot and refugee communities in Larnaca.

Come and experience a taste of the nations through food, music, culture, entertainment, and beautiful handicrafts!

The Festival will be held at the Finikoudes stage area on Friday 23rd June between 16:00-20:30. It will feature exciting multicultural programs and activities including:

-International food and drink tables
-Kid’s Corner with games, facepainting, and other activities
-Beauty Corner with henna painting, threading, hair dressing and more.
-Cultural Performances
-International Photobooth
-Artisan booths with handcrafted goods
-Information stands by participating organisations
