Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Handling the Accounting and Bookkeeping duties for a number of active companies within the Group;
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls;
  • Preparing the relevant files for the annual audit and liaising with external auditors;
  • Any other accounting-related projects required by Management;
  • Directly reporting to the CFO of the Group;
  • Complete tax forms, VAT, VIES;
  • Processing of bookkeeping data;
  • Preparation of the Payroll;
  • Assists in preparation of monthly management report and accompanying schedules, worksheets and narratives, including “Budget vs. Actual” variance reports. Assist in providing follow-up and documentation of significant variances;
  • Communication with banks about providing all required information upon request of the banks or a companies’ directors;
Your Profile:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance will be considered an advantage;
  • At least 1-year experience in Accounting practice;
  • Previous experience as a team leader will be considered an advantage;
  • Holder of any relevant accounting qualification (LCCI, CAT, ACCA, ACA etc…) considered an advantage;
  • Experience preferably in trading companies;
  • Experience with Stock Controlling will be considered as an advantage
  • Competent knowledge in MS Excel including VLOOKUP’s and Pivot tables;
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Familiarity with accounting software’s. E-SOFT or SAP will be considered as an advantage;
You should be able to demonstrate:
  • Excellent command of the English and Greek language, both verbal and written;
  • Romanian language will be considered as an advantage;
  • Team spirit, excellent problem-solving abilities and willingness to study and develop;
  • A commercial outlook with a service based focus which places a high emphasis on client satisfaction;
  • Dynamism and ability to deliver results in a timely manner;
  • Strategically minded, but able to be operationally “hands-on”;
  • Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to communicate with impact;
  • Computer literacy;
